Grinder/Finisher (Entry Level)

Salary:  $19-$20 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Select the appropriate tool for processing according to work traveler.
  • Finish part to blueprint or work traveler specifications.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
  • Setup, operate and maintain finishing equipment.
  • Maintain quality and run yields.
  • Unload steel from trucks and put it away in storage racks.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment a plus.
  • General understanding of equipment and manufacturing flow.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Self-starter who is ambitious, technically sound, and is results driven.

Painter/Blaster

Salary:  $18-$20 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces by sanding and using commercial cleaners
  • Perform spray painting of machine parts
  • Review the actual machine against the BOM
  • Ensure all signs and placards are affixed
  • Perform final quality check ensuring acceptable cosmetic levels and functionality of equipment, review and sign off all pre- and current quality check lists.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in extreme climates of heat and humidity
  • 2 to 3 years of wet painting experience required

Welder - Sign On Bonus Offered!!

Salary:  $19-$32 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Weld ferrous and non-ferrous metals using various weld procedures to include: soldering, brazing, stick welding, MIG welding and TIG welding
  • Cut metals with oxyacetylene or plasma
  • Setup and operate welding machines to build jobs to the specifications on prints
  • Read measuring equipment and interpret blueprints

Project Manager

Salary:  $75,000-$89,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Braun’s Sales Team with production analysis and facility layout design (via AutoCAD) including travel to sites for full assessments.
  • Develop scope of work for Braun and third-party contractors.
  • Develop costs and project timelines for installation, start-up and training of projects ranging from single-machine solutions to fully automated laundry processing systems.
  • Function as the liaison between the Braun Factory, the Braun Service Department and the Client to schedule project implementation per project timeline developed pre-sale.
  • Coordinate with third-party contractors including travel to sites for project meetings.
  • Travel to site (as necessary) and oversee project installation, start-up and training per scope of work developed pre-sale.
  • Complete project on-time, on-budget and to the customer’s satisfaction in order to achieve equipment acceptance sign-off.
  • Complete after-action reviews including project financials, execution timeline tracking and lessons learned.
  • Travel with Braun’s Sales Team to perform site assessments and design support for long-range strategic projects.
  • Work with Braun’s Engineering, Controls, Manufacturing & Service Teams on all automated laundry processing systems proposals and designs.
  • Establish working relationships with third-parties including design engineers, architects and MEP contractors.
  • Assist Braun’s Sales Team with creation of bid packages for RFP submittals.
  • Perform data, cost and ROI analytics.
     

Education and/or Experience:

  • BS in Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical or Engineering & Management preferred).
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • AutoCAD Experience preferred.

Field Service Technician

Salary:  $70,000-$85,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities: 

To install, support, train and repair product equipment in customer’s establishment, following blueprints and manufacturer’s instructions, and utilizing knowledge of mechanical and electrical machinery. The client training/instruction is for equipment operation and maintenance.

Performs the following tasks in support of company practices and procedures:

  • Reviews blueprints and observes layout of machine in manufacturer’s plant to become familiar with machine operation and plant processes.
  • Consults with Braun administration to resolve problems of machine design to avoid installation problems in customer’s establishment.
  • Operates with site supervisors and machine operators through trial run at customer’s establishment to ensure that quality and rate of production meet specifications.
  • Trains customer’s personnel and management in the operation of, adjusting, maintaining and repairing equipment by means of hands on instruction and review of operations and maintenance manuals.
  • Obtains client signoff for training and equipment acceptance on new equipment installations when the project manager is not present.
  • Consults with customer about deviations of machine operation from original specifications and explains reasons for changes. Needs to enforce OEM parts and recommended proper maintenance and operation of equipment.
  • Repairs worn or defective equipment in customer’s plant.
  • Well versed in WashNet and machine operating systems.  Is literate with PC and able to resolve system issues.
  • Supports income phone calls from customers, distributors, field service and regional sales managers.
  • Takes multiple pieces of information and puts them together to craft a solution.
  • Diagnoses and resolves complex problems to the equipment/system.
  • Lends technical assistance to customers, Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales and Engineering.
  • May conduct customer on-site training classes for line employees and management staff.
  • Ability to calm an irate customer and solve the problem.
  • Have knowledge of the customer base in his/her home territory and proactively visit sites to strengthen Braun’s presence and relationship.
  • Ability to propose and close service contracts and generate machine parts sales.

Education and/or Experience:

Position requires AS degree in Engineering, other specialized vocational training or equivalent experience and desire a minimum of six months direct experience in the electrical and mechanical assembly of Braun machines.  Must be able to read blueprints/diagrams or schematics, use testing equipment and have own basic hand tools.  Must be able to deal with customers in a professional and diplomatic manner.  Must be computer literate and willing to travel extensively. Must know equipment well enough to be comfortable training machine operation and maintenance. Must act as Braun site leader when project management is not on site to coordinate and prioritize functional sequence of events.

Mechanical Assembler

Salary:  $17-$23 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, adjust and fine-tune mechanisms of the product line, under little to no supervision
  • Inspect work, using precision measuring and gauging tools, performing required inspection before, during and after assembling
  • Perform operations using hand tools, such as drill, sander, cutting tools, torque wrench

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Assembly experience preferred

Electrical Assembler

Salary:  $17-$20 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read electrical & mechanical drawings
  • Have knowledge of relays, starters, inverters, motors, etc.
  • Have the ability to work with hand tools, electrical tools, test equipment and use meter gauges to work with electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Assembly experience preferred
  • PLC experience and some computer skills desired

Sheet Metal Fabricator

Salary:  $18-$24.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and operating fabricating machines such as a drill press, punch press, shear, forming roll, CNC press brake, CNC laser, CNC plasma table and grinders to shape and alter sheet metal to specification
  • Will use an overhead crane and/or forklift to load/unload steel from trucks and storage racks

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Ability to use and read measuring devices such as a tape measure, angle finder, square and calipers
  • Ability to read and interpret work travelers and blueprint drawings accurately

Powder Coat Painter

Salary:  $18-$20 per hour

Responsibilities:

Put a finish on raw steel using various pieces of industrial equipment. The individual must be able to setup and operate a pressure washer, cleaning bath, oven, powder coating gun and various hand tools to put a finish on jobs to the specifications on prints or work travelers.

  • Load carts by color and product size.
  • Clean parts using cleaning bath or high-pressure spray booth.
  • Operate curing and drying ovens.
  • Plug or mask parts according to work order travler or blue prints.
  • Operate powder coating gun and booth to put finish on parts.
  • Unload and label finished parts.
  • Deliver completed parts.
  • Clean and maintain water treatment system, cleaning baths, high pressure spray booth, ovens, powder coating gun, powder coating booth and room.
  • Utilize computer scanning system to record labor.
  • Use and read measuring tools such as, tape measure, pressure gages and liquid measuring devices.
  • Rig up parts and use overhead crane.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in extreme climates of heat and humidity

  • Unload steel from trucks and put it away in storage racks.
  • Adhere to all G. A. Braun Standards of Conduct and Company Policies.

Production Technician

Salary:  $18-$23 per hour

Summary:

 CNY Fabrication is seeking a Production Technician to join our team as we grow and diversify, in a fast-paced, results-oriented contract manufacturing environment. As Production Technician you will operate automated and manual equipment to produce parts to specification under the guidance of your team lead. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to learn and grow with our team.

Sheet Metal Worker - 2nd Shift

Salary:  $19-$30 per hour

Summary:

CNY Fabrication is seeking a Sheetmetal Lead and two Sheetmetal Fabricators for a second shift to begin as soon a team can be assembled and trained. We must have three people to make this successful.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Operate, load, and unload laser and/or plasma.
  2. Deburr, sort, and deliver cut parts.
  3. Operate press brakes to complete forming operations to specification.
  4. Inspect parts using various measuring tools.
  5. Lead - Supervise all personnel and operations on the shift, plan for effective capacity utilization, and ensure that all safety procedures and company policies are followed.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift (1:30pm-10:00pm)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Manufacturing Engineer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated engineer with interests in manufacturing engineering to work with a talented team of engineers and skilled fabricators starting in the Summer, 2024. This position will support Manufacturing and Engineering with a variety of projects with varying degrees of collaboration with fabricators, drafters, and engineers with varying backgrounds and experience. A successful candidate will be highly motivated to work in a team-based, goals oriented environment with guidance from the manufacturing engineering supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use Solidworks to create and revise 3D models and production drawings, applying DFMA principles and following all internal processes.
  • Work closely with the fabrication team to develop manufacturing plans, clear and effective drawings, work instructions, and provide any necessary support to ensure the success of projects.
  • Use ERP/MRP software to create part numbers and build processes. Perform first article inspections to qualify new designs, improve build processes, and grow our capabilities as a manufacturer.
  • Work closely with manufacturing engineering and fabricators to become familiar with the different manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, welding) and their capabilities.
  • Review Engineering Change Requests (ECR) to evaluate proposals, work with teams of various backgrounds to implement robust fixturing solutions, or design modifications when justified and approved.
  • Perform all essential job duties with moderate oversight.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently working towards a BS in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering/ engineering technology.
  • Must be able to operate CAD/CAM software, experience with Solidworks is preferred.
  • Experience with metal fabrication processes preferred.
  • Strong communication and writing skills are required.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to independently drive tasks to completion.
